Tuesday, after being stabbed stab-bed twice during an altercation alter-cation that was reported to have broken out over a pool game at the Alamo Bar early Sunday morning. Robert Hollander, 30, who was arrested at the scene and charged with aggravated assault, was released on $10,000 bail Monday evening. The suspect's arrainment, pending the arrival of his lawyer from California, has not yet been set, the Park City Police Department reported. re-ported. " Describing how he arrived on the scene, arresting Park Ctiy officer Joe Of fret told the Newspaper, "After answering the Coalville dispatchers dis-patchers call at about 12:30 a.m. Sunday, I pulled up to the Alamo and found Crazy lying in the road knifed." The victim, with one stab wound puncturing his lung while another narrowly missed miss-ed his heart, was rushed to Veterans Hospital by the Park City Ambulance Service. T Arrest Made "When I entered the Alamo, Kenny Binatena a Park City resident . had Hollander cornered," Offret said. "He didn't resist and I just 1 1 1 it .irr. u;mm iiiihi placed him under arrest," the officer added. Hunting Knife A knife, that Park City Police Chief Garth Wilkinson described as a "good sized type hunting knife," was recovered at the Alamo. According to Wilkinson, the suspect, since arriving in Park City a few months ago, has been reported earring a knife on his hip. "The suspect is saying the incident was a matter of self-defense," Chief Wilin,-son Wilin,-son disclosed. -". "He claimed the victim pulled out a pocket knife," the chief added. Dennis Peterson, a Park City resident who Offret described as "another victim of the assult," sustained a slight cut on his hand during the fight. Peterson told the Newspaper News-paper he knew Hollander for "sometime and said, "We've had arguments before." - "I'm not really sure what happened exactly," Peterson said. "I wasn't in the best condition." ' Bail Changed ' "Because Park City Justice of the Peace Brent Gold was not available that evening we . took the suspect toe District Judge William Kilby," Offret said. An original bail of $2,5)0 was changed to $10,000 when Kilby realized a knife was involved. These three plays will be the first productions by the Center Stage Company and the first to be held in the Art Center's new building. Auditions for the cast and musicians will be held on Tuesday evening, November 9, from 6:30 9:30 p.m. at the Art Center's temporary office, 408 Main Street. ' . .'. v "When we surveyed the community last summer, there was considerable inter est in a community-support-' ed theater group,"said Alan Crooks, Director of the Kimball Art Center. "It's just a name now, but by mid-December, the Kimball Center State Company will in fact, take center stage .with these plays. They will be produced locally and hopefully hopeful-ly will draw an audience from all surrounding communities." Included in the three plays will be a musical comedy, a character comedy, and an 'experimantal' drama. "The Diary of Adam and Eve" is a musical comedy that takes a humorous look at the beginn-. ing of sin and the 'original' affair. Two adult', men and one adult woman will be cast as Adam, the Snake and Eve. All parts require some singing. Also cast will be a pianist, guitarist, flutist, drummer and -iiarmonica player for tliie orchestra; All rnusicianl must Be"ble to sight read music. "The Diary of Adam and Eve" is the first act of the full-length musical The Apple Tree adapted by ' Jerome Coopersmith. It opened , at New York's Shubert Theater in October 1966 and originally starred Alan Alda, Barbara Harris and Larry Blyden. "I'm Herbert," a character comedy, involves an elderly couple, each married so many times that they can not remember their current spouse's name. "I'm Herbert" Her-bert" originally opened at the Ambassador Theater in March 1967 as the final act of ,the full-length comedy You ' know I can't Hear You When The Water's Running written writ-ten by Robert Anderson. .Louise Kutz will direct both comedies for the Center State Company. , "Fingernails Blue as Flowers'' by Ronald Ribman is a contemporary drama set in . a summer resort and requires" considerable involvement by the audience. 'Alan Crooks will direct this play. This experimantal drama foregoes traditional time frame settings and asks v i the audience to mentally complete the time shifts. Three adult maje parts, one adult female part (early 20's and bikini-clad throughout the entire play) and a young girl 'aged 8 -10 years will be cast for this play. The Kimball Center Stage Company will be formed as part of the Art Center's Guild, a volunteer arm of the Kimball Art Center. The first productions require a cast of 10. In addition, the Center Stage Company will need a complete volunteer technical crew including a lighting and sound crew (about, 4 people), a costumer, a makeup person, a stage -manager, a properties person, per-son, a 'set' crew (about 3-4 to build the sets), and a 'front-of-house' crew of ticker-takers and ushers (about 6 people.) "Ideally, the supporting"" crews should have had somes ' previous theater experience on any level," said Alan Crooks, but he added that "of course, is someone wants to volunteer, we'll find him a spot." Although the auditions will be limited to Tuesday evening, even-ing, anyone who is' unable to attend should phone the Art Center to make special audition arrangements. Advance copies of the scripts are available at the Art Center. TomLlgare Silver King Bank 649-9161 ountonme foreconomical protection acd prompt, personal service."
