There will be a bulletin board for critter-related notices. Park Pets is located at 357 Main Street (649-9031). Palmer Wins $40,000 Tyler Palmer, 27, of Mt. Washington Valley, New Hampshire captured his first victory of the young ski season by , winning the slalom half of the $40,000 English Leather Cup at Stowe, Vermont on January 14. " "That's really going to give . me the confidence I heed for f the rest of the seatorif!said Palmer, whose results were only mediocre in the first two events of the season. The following day, Sunday, Sun-day, "Jungle" Jim Hunter, a 24-year-old rookie from Calgary, Alberta, Canada scored a come-from-behind win in the second downhill event of the winter. Hunter was about eight-tenths eight-tenths of a second behind Engelhard Pargaetzi of Switzerland after the first run down the mile and one-quarter one-quarter long downhill on Mt. Mansfield's Main Street run. "I changed my wax for the second run, and I remembered remem-bered to recite scriptures (Isaiah 26.3) before I started," star-ted," said Hunter explaining his phenomenal second run. CARL WINTERS MIDDLE SCHOOL HONOR ROLL Second Term f f?7. . ANNOUNCEMENT We are pleased to announce a "first" in Park City dining: Soft, tuneful, romantic piano background music to complement an excellent candle-lit dinner. World traveler ERIC LUNDBERG'S reminiscent ram-blings ram-blings at the piano and occasionally on the accordion-bringing accordion-bringing back "new nostalgia" and international melodies we feel will truly delight you. You know, there's not much of this kind of music around any more. We are sincerely confident you will thoroughly enjoy it. 7lppetizers Seventh Grade ' David Hunt 3.91 Joanna Taylor 3.74 Stephen Holmsen 3.73 Bill Simmons 3.73 Heather Ford 3.73 Veronica Brose 3.64 John Carpenter : 3.64 Tom Flinders 3.64 Kenny Lawson 3.54 Steven Lindskov 3.51 Eighth Grade " Denise White ... 4.00 Dan Nestel . 3.96 Alexander Holmsen 3.83 WadeWallin - 3.67 Michelle Gebauer ' 3.66 Jeff Scott 3.64 .
