Parcels identified as 3 and 16 are hereby classified for leaseand or sale for recreation and public purposes under the provisions of the Recreation and Public Purpose Act (R&PP) of June 14, 1926 as amended, 44 Stat. 741 (43 U.S.C. 869 et seq.) and the regulations thereunder (43 CFR 2740 and 2912). The Park City Municipality has made application ap-plication for these parcels under the provisions of the R&PP Act In order to use these lands for recreation and open space, and to provide picnic pic-nic areas, city campground, cam-pground, trails for hiking and horseback riding, cross-country skiing, aquatic park, a tot lot, open play area, restrooms and a parking lot for the use of the public. These lands are valuable for public purposes as contemplated con-templated by 43 CFR 2430.4(a) and may properly be classified for lease and disposal under the R&PP Act as stated in 43 CFR 2430.4(c). This classification is consistent con-sistent with the criteria of 43CFR2410.1(a-d). Parcel 102 is hereby classified for disposal by sale to the public under Section 203 of FLPMA with the proceeds being applied to help retire the federal debt, or by transfer to the State of Utah under Quantity Grant Selection right.
