Family planning clinics The Park City Community Clinic, a nonprofit family planning plan-ning program, will be holding clinics during the month of May. Appointments are available for morning, afternoon and evening clinics. The services offered include physical exams, PAP tests, counseling and education, VD screening, pregnancy testing and contraceptive supplies. Costs for these services are minimal or on a sliding fee scale. No one will be denied use of the clinic and all services are confidential. For information or an appointment, please call 649-5989. Mass meetings The Summit County Republican Party will hold its mass meetings May 3 beginning at 7:15 p.m. Districts One, Two, Three and Five, representing Park City proper, will meet in . the library at Park City High School. The mass meetings are used to select candidates for the June 11 county convention. KPCW's library is in need of new music. If you are leaving town and don't want to haul your old records around with you, or if you are just tired of them and hate to throw them away, you can drop them off at KPCW, located in the Memorial Building. Men's Golf Association There will be a meeting of the Park City Men's Golf Association Thursday, April 29 at 5 p.m. at Sneakers in the Park City Racquet Club. The rules and summer agenda will be discussed. Fees ($25 per person) will be collected. All interested in-terested persons are encouraged to attend. 'Communication and cancer' workshop A "Communication and cancer" workshop will be held on Saturday, May 15 in Room 201, Malouf Hall at Westminister College, 1840 South 1300 East, for cancer patients and their families and health care professionals. The workshop will explore such topics as using communication com-munication as a coping skill to reduce stress and anxiety; couple communication and sexuality; family communication; com-munication; communication between patient and health professional; coping strategies to avoid burnout; death and dying, and bereavement. Advance registration is required by May 5. The cost is $15 ($5 for cancer patients or family members) and includes all materials and refreshments except lunch. KPCW's Health Talk This Sunday at 5:30 p.m., Dr. Bud Keye, moderator of Health Talk and his guests Marion Ayers and Nancy Cowher will discuss "The Park City Family Counseling Institute." Health talk is heard every Sunday at 5:30 p.m. and deals with health topics and issues of interest to residents of Park City. The Park City Rugby Club is now holding outdoor practices on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning at 5:30 p.m. at Park City High School. For further information, call 649-8681 or 649-9461. Childbirth preparation classes Community education The next series of childbirth preparation classes given by the Summit County Health Department, will begin Tuesday May 4, at the Park City Community Clinic. The classes will be held each Tuesday for seven weeks from 7 to 9 p.m. The cost is $10.00 per couple. For information or to register call the Summit County Health Department at 649-9072.
