Show mm We are looking forward to Questions and answers "FromWhere I Sit By Allan R. Gibson a aBBSaaat Baaaaa uuuBauauuuauuuuuuaus Thursday is the opening of the Juab County Fair and this years fair looks to be one of the best in the last few years. Be sure and plan to attend some of the many events planned for the three day run. They have western entertainment planned for Saturday night in the rodeo grounds, a livestock auction on Friday, and Market Beef judging on Thursday. On top of that its great to see all the arts and crafts, foods, sewing and handy work that your neighbors and friends have done this past year. Be sure and attend. On the political scene, the race for commission is heating up. Both Richard Brough and Gordon Young are asking for your vote. Take some time, study the issues and make up your mind on who you feel is better qualified to lead Juab County in the upcoming four years. I feel its time for a change in leadership, so Fm going to vote for Gordon Young. He has a firm, positive forward looking attitude and will serve the voters well if elected. We can live in the past, here in Juab County, or we can plan for the future and for my money Mr. Y oung is a better choice to move the county into the future. I hope you will study the issues and make your choice on September 8th. You can vote in the Democratic primary or in the Republican primary on election day but not both. Plan now to make a difference by voting on September 8th for the candidates for your choice. next Monday? is the sad song that many of the local children are singing this week. The summer has come and gone and forward into Fall we all go. The morning sun is not peeking its head up until almost 6:45 these days and the morning air has just a bit of nip in it. The grain is being cut, the second crop of Alfalfa is being bailed and the creek up the canyon is mostly dry from Bear Canyon to the forks. All the signs point to fall. Yup, its time for fall. Back-to-scho- ol Its good we have the changes in the season to mark the years. Knowing that spring is now only 6 months away will allow us to stand the cold months ahead. Looking ahead to the cool nights offall makes the hot nights of summer bearable. We all need road signs to navigate by and the seasons are the road signs of life. Read them and be full of joy or read them and weep. The choice is yours. arg Subscribe to the Times-New-s today. $17 per year OIL CHANGE SPECIAL AT HAPS 66 SERVICE Up to 5 quarts of Phillips TropArtic filter ad lube and Thomas-Coaches- meeting.
