He worked at Superior Motors in Provo, on the Boulder Dam, at Nolan and Donas Chevrolet Garage in Provo, at Dixon, Taylor, and Russell in Provo, and at Utah Power & Light in Grace and Soda Springs, Idaho. He retired in from Geneva Steel in 1968 with 29 years of service and presently farms in Mona. He served in the Navy in Washington, D.C. during World War II.
