This statement and question tas been asked by several Its time. Next Monday is the golden day that been have parents looking forward to all Summer. Its also the day that the teachers, administrators, and students have been fearing for the most part the day when one will have to get serious about the process of growing up and helping youngsters grow up. The whole process is laced with pi tfalls, and just when you think you have them figured out, along comes someone or something, throws a monkey wrench in the works and you have to start all over again. Back in July she tripped in a hole and broke her foot. Well last Tuesday she had the cast taken off after a long six weeks. Two years ago, while contemplating this equipment, the council approved the purchase of a software package called Power Manager. This software was being marketed by the American Public Power Association and has a program especially designed for city and town finances. This complete system, computer hardware and software cost the town less than $5,000. This system gives the town more power and flexibility in billing and accounting than most of the larger cities and towns have with their large mainframe computers. This is due to the rapid advancement in computer technology during the last few years. The council had been split on the subject of an employee for the office for several months following the auditors recommendation.
