Hosts for the event were her The Delphic Literary Club elected Mrs. Beth Rosquist as president for the next club year when the club met recently at the home of Mrs. VaLoy Menlove. Other officers named are Mrs. Pat Greenwood, vice president; Mrs. LaWana Bateman, secretary; Mrs. Donna Andersen, treasurer; Mrs. LaRue Shaw, reporter, and Mrs. Zoma Painter, historian. family: Mr. and Mrs. Rex (Gladys) Tolley, Mr. and Mrs. Frank (Florence) Ricer of Salt Lake City, Mr. and Mrs. Dee Kendall of Nephi, Dr. and Mrs. Gordon (Grace) Johnson of Provo, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Kendall of Bountiful. Special guests were Mr. and Mrs. John Wilkey, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Ingram, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Wilkey. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Wilkey and Mrs. Lloyd Goble, all of Nephi, and Mrs. Harry Wilkey of Provo. Also present were 35 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild, totaling 84 family members. Stephenson were Mr. and Mrs. Alma Garrett and daughter Lu Ann, and Mrs. Maurine Winter and daughter Linda; also Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Whitehead who called on their way to Spanish Fork from Arizona where they had spent the winter. Sunday visitors at the home of Mrs. George H. Ostler were Mr. and Mrs. Larry Iverson and his sister from St. George; Mr. and Mrs. Therle Ostler of Provo, Mrs. Bill Ostler and baby of Orem. Mrs. Harry J. Irons returned to her home Saturday after visiting with members of her family for a month. She spent three weeks in Boise, Idaho with Mr. and Mrs. C. Ray Peterson (Geneva) and they returned with her and stayed overnight at her home in Nephi. they visited at Logan with Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Irons and with Mr. and Mrs Dennis Winter (Eunice) and family at Bountiful. The Five Silly Sitters held their first meeting at the home of Marjie Stephenson on Thursday, March 25. These chose Sandy Kay for .president and Bessie Johnson for vice president Betty Sperry was named secretary and Sheila Jarrett reporter. Song Leader is Janice Griffith. The group will study child care and their goal is to become good baby sitters.
