Han sen and family of Cedar City visited briefly in Nephi on Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Greenhalgh. Community Congratulations . . . When the buzzer sounded in the fieldhouse at Brigham Young University last Saturday evening, ending the A tournament, Nephi had just a little more pride than any other community in the state, other than Clearfield, for we truly had a bit of honor in the championship. It is more than gratifying to our community to have a native son direct his team to the state championship. We convey to Coach Marcus Garrett and his team our sincere congratulations on winning the championship of the state. As coach at Juab Hgh School some years ago, Coach Garrett directed two 'B championship teams, and the win this year gives him a credtable position among coaches of the state. Again, sincere congratulations to Coach Marcus . . . and to his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Garrett in Nephi. Use vs Abuse . . . With the issuance of the numerous First Security BankAmericards, each of us must learn two words: use and abuse. Use of the credit extended under the cards plan will help many acquire things not otherwise available; while abuse of credit will place the individual in a position where the new credit card will become a liability, rather than a privilege. As you receive your new card and new privileges, keep in mind these words: use and abuse. ACTION Jim Painter can sell you two for that price.
