We have an ideal central location, and the school and stake facilities can be utilized for meetings and banquets. We have most modren motels, and well over 300 individuals can be accomodated without crowding, on any given night. Jensen of Nephi, and Scott Plummer, son of Perry Plummer of Ephraim, both of whom have been studying in France, and Steve Qckey, son of Mr. and Mrs. James H. Ockey of Nephi, a missionary in the French East mission, had a Snow College Gabfest a short time ago at Lausanne, Switzerland. Steve was succeeded by Scott as president of the Senior Class at Snow. The reunion was a result of much planning, several letters and use of the missionarys diversion day. One can imagine that although several thousand miles separated the men from the school at Ephraim, the fervent Snow College spirit was "abounding in phi First-Secon- d Ward chapel. Mr. Belliston died at the family residence on Thursday, June 10, 1965, following a lingering illness. Bishop Vaughn J. Paxman of the Nephi Seoond Ward conducted the services. Mr. Belliston, a retired employee of the Nephi post office, also had been active as a farmer and bee keeper throughout his lifetime. Prior to his retirement a few years ago, he had been employed by the Nephi post office for 15 years. Active in LDS Church affairs, Mr. Belliston had served for 22 years as secretary of the 71st Quorum of Seventy in Juab Stake, had also served in the Seventies Quorum presidency, and also had served as a teacher and in the superintendency of the Sunday School. He served three stake missions for the Church in Juab Stake. For several years he served as a committeeman for the Boy Scouts of America. Mr. Belliston was a member of the first basketball team at the Nephi High School and later was a member of the Firemans basketball team of Nephi. Bom at Nephi May 15, 1887, he was a son of Thomas Belliston and Sophia Bardsley Belliston. He married Alice Lill- ian Farnsworth June 16, 1909 at the Manti Temple. She died He married Sarah in 1927. Ida Parkes September 3, 1930 at the Manti Temple Surviving are his widow, Ida P. Belliston of Nephi; a son, Carl F. Belliston of Washingthree daughters: ton, D.C.; Mrs. Alma (Ruby) Rasmussen of Midvale; Mrs. W. Bert (Florence) Powell of Nephi, and Mrs. E. George (Alice) Campbell of Imperial Beach, California. Also surviving are six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Mrs. Nance was bom at Nephi, a daughter of Stewart and Ruth A Davis Bowers. She was married to Troy Nance in 1945. She is survived by her husand three daughters: Mary Ann, Dene and Virginia, all of Las Vegas, Nevada; two sisters and two brothers: Mrs. Ruth Kester of Santaquln, Mary Bowers of Las Vegas, Sgt. John S. Bowers of Tuscon, Arizona and Deloy Bowers of Santaquin.
