It took a mighty lot of repairing and a lot of new pieces of glass to get the buildings back in prope- - fair condition this year after the escapades of one or two or perhaps three youngsters with BB guns, and some thought less older person teen ager, or when they broke into one adult of the buildings at the fair grounds several weeks ago. It is impossible for the officers to patrol everyplace at one time and it seems that there are very few days during the summer vacation when . several kids are not vacationing at the fair grounds area. Parents should take it upon tnemseives to teach their boys and girls to respect public property, or the property of other individuals, and to treat it as they would ex pect their property to be treated. A lot of expense to the county and thus to the taxpayer could have been saved if some mother and father had properly educated the kids in the use of the air rifle commonly known as the gun. BB gun. Unless some kid's con secience bothers him. it is doubt ful if anyone will ever know who shot the holes in the glass at the fairgrounds. No arrests have been made, as far as we can learn. IN NEPHI. The car seemed to want that same ... position too, cause it crowded too close for comfort When the breeze was past, Henrys leg was hurting just a little bit, and he glanced dwn to see the fender chrome strip sticking through his trousers leg, vibrating back and forth. He was scared . . thought it had gone straight through his leg . . . but a little examination found that it had only gone thru his trousers, Just above the knee, and there it was, sticking out of both sides. If Henry had been susceptible to fainting spells, he surely would have toppled over at that time. . . thats too close far comfort Saj With competition between cities and towns becoming greater day by day for the dollar which Mr. and Mrs. John Tourist has to spend, dont you think It's time that all of us got our heads to. gether and made one collective head to think out the best ways to keep Nephi on the map.
