Resouces Corp. Voting places will be the residences of the - respective registration agents in Juab County voting districts. Voting may be done between 7 a.m and 8 p. m., and the ballots for the election call for '"Do you as a qualified voter of Juab County favor a levy to support the rain increasing program of the Southern Utah Water Resources Development Corp.? Space is also provided on the ballot for the yes, or no vote. At the approximately $9,000,000 valuation, the levy would raise, if approved by the voters, approximately $9,000 to support the program. According to the article, Gary has an important role in "Showboat"' which has been presented In Balboa Park during July as well as In other StarJight opera productions. Two years ago Gary sang in the chorus of the San Francisco Grand Opera Company, a real achievement for one of his age. Gary is an employee of the Rohr Aircraft Corporation at Chula Vista California. Mayor Names Salisbury To City Council Mayor P. L. Jones late Thurds-da- y announced the appointment of David Salisbury to the Nephi City Council to fill the unexpired term of Ray Gadd. Mr. Gadd recently was transferred by the U. S. Gypsum Company to Oakland, California. Councilman Salisbury formerly served as a member of the Council, having resigned when he was called to active duty with the National Guard. Earlier recommendations by the Fish and Game Commission became official recently when they were accepted by the U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service, controlling agency for all migratory birds. Counties open to shooting will be eBaver, Emery, Iron, Grand, Juab, Millard, San Juan, Sanpete, Tooele, Uintah, Utah, Washington Wayne and parts of Duchesne and Salt Lake counties. Much enthusiasm was express ed by sportsmen participating In the dove hunt last year. It is ex pected that many more will go afield this season to hunt this fine game bird. All field reports indi cate there will be ample birds in all areas open to shooting. Bag and possession limit are both ten birds. No larger bore than a shotgun may be used, and said shotgun must not be capable of holding more than three shells in magazine and the chamber combined. Shooting hours hours are from one-hahour be fore sunrise to sunset. Sportsmen should check these times daily for the district in which they expect to hunt. Either the game bird or combination fishing or hunting hunting license is required before going afield for doves. No special stamp, federal or state, is needed. No one under 14 years of age may carry a gun on this as with all other hunts. Kiwanis members Twenty-fou- r and their wives left their troubles on Wedneswith the day evening of last week and went to Camp Dadandson where they were greeted by natures perfume of the pines, the majestic scenery of Mt Nebo, the tantalizing smell of mountain trout frying in bacon grease and Chef Reeve Richardson standing over the hot grills tending the vittles. Everyone was greeted to a choice feed, the main course was mountain trout, of which mountain fried, Reeve Richardson style. Everyone in attendance not only learned how to eat fish from Dr. Jones but also enjoyed themselves to such an extent that they voted Reeve the task of re. peating the fry each year. Special guest of the evening was Cec Tate, Mayor of Tooele, and candidate to the Utah State Senate, who spoke briefly on the advantages and disadvantages of national defense projects to the small communities.
