One hundred thirty eight Boy Scouts, and 75 Kiwanis club members and parents were present. The majority of the Boy Scouts were in full uniform and with their colored neckerchiefs it made a very colorful affair. District Scout Commissioner Claude R. Lomax was in charge of the program for the entire evening. Posting of colors was done by troop 133 of the Nephi Third WUrd and Scoutmaster K. A. Dutson was in charge. After colors were posted, Scoutmaster Dutson led the entire group in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.
