' ffWORK ERSTO Levan Delegates Ask Aid in Road Building from Levan met with the Juab County Commission at the regular monthly meeting held last Monday and asked for funds to assist in constructing a road up Chicken Creek canyon, south-ea- st of that town. The committee reported that the forest service has appropriated $3,000 for this project, and the citizens of Le van were willing to donate a good iwtlon for labor, but they would like the county to participate in sharing the cost of the construct ion of the road. The purpose of the road is to open up an area where Levan citizens can get out timber for fire wood and farm use. It is planned to commence the building of a road up Chicken Creek canyon during the early part of next week, possibly Tuesday, ac cording to Information given out Thursday evening by Charles forest supervisor of the Uinta National Forest. Grace, president of the Nephi Poultrymen, Inc. For several years previous to the establishment of the Nephi plant the local poultrymen trucked their eggs to the Payson plant, where a small amount was retained to help pay for the Payson plant. After the Nephi plant was established, the local poultrymen asked that their equity in the Payson plant either be transferred to the Nephi plant, or paid to them in cash. According to Mr. Grace, the money is now available, and the checks for the amounts to be received by each individual poultryman can be secured by making application to the manager of the Nephi nlant. o 13, No. 37 TO START TUESDAY SCHOOLS OF DISTRICT Red Creek Is Selected By Forest Officials As Most OPEN WITH LARGE Feasible For ATTENDANCE Canyon New Road To Timber.
