It was organized following the creation of Farmers National Grain Corporation, central sales agency of the grain cooperatives. with headquarters in Chicago. Local organizations affiliated with this regional operate in most of the grain producing counties of the territory served. Through them the grain growers obtain the services of the National, a nation-wid- e grain cooperative with contacts in every market in the United States. The Utah Fruit and Vegetable Growers, Inc., Salt Lake City, has had assistance from the Farm Board in strengthening its organization and expanding its marketing activities.
