Show THE The -:- - HOW TO SAVE MONEY Third- NEPHL Ul AIL TIMKU-NfcWi- s, Times-New- s PERSONAL I'ubliNhed every Friday by The Times News Publishing Company -- : DENNIS WOOD. K. B. GIBSON. . - Editor - Manager Set A Minimum In view of the fact that Juab Counrecord iu favor of rendering assistance in the paving of the State highway through this city to the extent of appropriating the sum of $40,000 it seems to us that there should be no hesitation on the part of this city to take advantage of the offer at an early date. With the condition of the main thoroughfare through this city for the past three months, it dont need any argument put forth to convince any citizen that something should be done to help change the present annual deluge of mud. With the completion of the paved highway to the city limits on the uorth the question of extending the paving through this city has been brought to us with much greater torce. For travelers to come to the cny limits on the finest paved highway in the country, and then drop almost out of sight in the worst mud highway in the valley, is certainly a a condition that hits the pride of every loyal citizen in this community. As long as theis condition exists during the winter and spring months Lusiness in this city is going to be placed at a disadvantage. Of course it is going to cost some money to inuke this improvement, and times are not the best, but there comes a time when certain things have to be done, and it seems to us that this is one of them. Let there be an early arrangement made for the starting of this work. Make it as large as possible , hen STICK TO IT. If you can deposit more, you're that much winner.
