(dishes, drink and roll provided), (lames, prizes, and a -- Levan time. good-ole William Robertshaw of third grade Nephi has been presented the Volunteer of the Year Award at Nephi Elementary fur the 2003-200school year. He has volunteered hundreds of hours to help students gain important reading skills. Bill likes to keep busy. He and his w ife Janice enjoy taking care of their grandn Tyler. Because Tyler was to begin kindergarten last fall, he felt good about volunteering at the school while Tyler was there. He also had worked as a school custodian for 13 years and knew how great it was to work w ith kids. There will also be a special casting fireside w here we will announce the results of the auditions on June 13 at 7:00 p.m. at the 3rd and 5th ward building. If you can not attend the fireside, the parts will be posted on the outside doors of the building for a few days after the fireside. Because of the large number of cast members, we will not be able to call you and let you know of your part. Your participation in The Mormon Handcart Pageant promises to be a wonderful opportunity. The pageant is growing at an incredible rate thanks to all of you and your willingness to help. Raymond has been a 6th grade teacher at Juab Middle School for the past 24 years, teaching in all subjects. He also coaches football and baseball at Juab High School. Hali will play various musical selections on the piano and will also accompany her father as he sings. He said that recycling would cut down on the amount of garbage, which in turn keeps garbage rates dow n. Brough suggested that Miss Nielson contact Mr. Dennis and tell him to talk with Randy McKmght at the base for sales tax out of telecommunications services, so the same things you pay sales tax for telephone services the telecommunications tax would apply. The Mayor asked for a motion and also to set a rate. Rowley made the motion to adopt the ordinance with a 4 rate. It passed unanimously. The new ordinance will take effect on July 1, 2001.
