Although the rate of SIDS has decreased over the past few years, the fact remains that in 1997 more than 3,000 babies in the U.S. and 22 babies in Utah died from this silent killer. SIDS strikes without warning, the first symptom is death. Usually a seemingly healthy infant is placed down to sleep and later found dead, leaving families dev- w; A- - astated. 1EALTH FAIR Winners m the Juab Middle School Health Fair for 7th grade students.
