He also helped coach boys' basketball teams for many years. One of the things he likes to do is bake, especially bread and rolls. His children have compared him to the Little Red Hen, in that he grew and harvested the wheat, milled it into flour, and then baked it into bread. Another hobby is quilting. He and his wife have made quilts for all of their grandchildren when they are married, and for their when they were bom. He has served his church in many capacities. He has been a square-dancin- Sendees Monday for Tami Linn Gage of Levan Tami Linn Gage, age 34, passed away April 12, 1997, at her home in Levan, Utah, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was bom March 13, 1963, in Ephrata, Washington, to Fred Gage and Linda Beeman Pauly. Tami developed many friends across the nation through her involvement in both the sheep ; and the cattle industries. She earned a Masters Degree in Reproductive Physiology from Utah State University in 1992. She loved quality livestock, and the association of the people who bred them, and was well respected throughout livestock circles for her ability to evaluate both sheep and cattle. Tami worked to develop means to better the junior livestock experience. She was instrumental in the founding and promoting of some of the Wests leading junior beef shows. At home in any group of people, she will be remembered as an excellent conversationalist, a leader, a mentor, a teacher, a thinker. She is survived by her mother - 11 a.m., Monday April 21,1997, in the Levan LDS Ward Chapel. ' Friends may call following the services at the Levan Ward Cultural Hall.
