Services Held Here Monday for Former Nephi Businessman Congressman Lloyd Schedules Visit an editorial without words A couple of weeks ago a hearing was conducted at Orem on the Environment concerning thfe Central Utah Project. In addition to testimony given at the hearing, additional contributions are being received. Cary G. Peterson, has submitted the following appraisal to the U. S. Bureau of Reclamation: Having followed closely the development of the Central Utah Project, Unit, I have been disturbed by the reopening of hearings at this very late date and political appeasment given ta Environmental Protectionists. I feel that the environmental impact studies to date are adequate and complete and objections seem shallow and fishy; realizing the project will create more fishing habitat than it will endanger. I trust that you and your hearing committee will give an unqualified and very firm go ahead for rapid completion of the Central Utah Project Bonneville Unit. I further express full confidence in Mr. Ludlow and the County Board Representatives of Central Utah Conservancy District; the tax payers of Utah who voted for, are paying for, and will complete paying for the project and in the United States Congress for loan funding of the C. U. P. Let us not lose, through non-usthe valuable resource we in Central Utah are dependent upon for our future growth and necessary development. I speak as a water user. I am president of the Juab Copnty Cattlemens Association and represent its 30 members. As the current chairman of agriculture and conservation committee in the Ne-pKiwanis Club, and as a candidate for State Representative from District 71, wnich includes Juab, Millard and a portion of Utah Counties, let us unitedly Work for swift completion of the Central Utah Project Bonneville Unit. Kim Sperry then joined the Park brothers for a run making the score 26 to 16. Kim then boosted the score as he made the extra point for the Wasps. The faking action of Kim Sperry and Arden Hill helped to set up the long runs made by Brent Park. Coach Dennis Hansen commented that 45-ya- rd the defensive line of Steve Hall, Grant Fowkes, Tracy Olsen, Danny Sperry, Arden Hill, Rick Bird and Bevan Orme was excellent throughout this game and the blocking was the best we have had this year.
