In last weeks issue, again in this weeks issue, and probably again next week, we are carrying reminders about a Times-New- Glaucoma clinic which will be held in Nephi on April 4th. Glaucoma is a freightening it creeps up on one thing for some time without detection as the pressures in the eye build up and destroy vision slowly . . . day by day . .week by week. Those who have become afflicted with it know how slowly . . yes and how thoroughly . . . the disease works to destroy precious vision. The tests for Glaucoma that will be given by eye physicians at the clinic here are relatively simple . . . theres no hurt to the individual, unless lying perfectly still for a few moments could be called a hurt Personally, Ive had the test and each and every time I have an opportunity, Il have it again. Eyes are too valuable to be neglected, and if these Doctors are willing to give of their time to check your eyes without cost, surely you should be anxious to attend the clinic to see if there is any indication of Glaucoma in your eyes. ... 8 p.m. reminder is given to all citizens of East Juab County to attend Songs for the Love of Living", a musical program being sponsored by the Ladies Literary League ar.d the Clubs of Nephi.
