It has been the custom in the past for the Juab school district to pay the expenses of these young people to the college and return, but the present economic situation has made it impossible for them to continue. The problem was then presented to the Nephi Kiwanls club which agreed to do all within their power to raise the $25.00 necessary for their expenses and last year they were able to meet the necesary amount through the sale of tickets to a picture show at the Venice Theatre. The request has again been made of the Kiwanls club to sponsor this project. The management of the Venice Theatre has agreed to present a picture show on the night of February 16, and give the club for their project, a portion of the money received on the sale of tickets.
