The first grade pupils in Nephl, and the first and second grade pupils in Mona and Levan have been given greater opportunity for growth and advancement by being placed on a full day schedule of school In place of day as they have formerly attended. This change was instituted without increasing the teaching personnel or building space of our system. The advantages of the Nephi Junior High School have been materially by the transferring of its homemaking department from the Nephl Central School Teachers' Room to the homemaking rooms of the high school building. The courses in this department are now our senior high school taught by Instructors who are specially trained and experienced In their respective fields. The music on this level has also been taught during the past year by a teacher holding a college degree with special training in that line of one-ha- lf d wlierca under the old system it was only open for a abort period before ami after school each day. It has also made possible the centralization of the various financial system of the schools. All mouey are now accounted for and paid out by the Clerk under the authorization of the Hoard of Education. In the field of general school plan work and supervision the following activities have gone forward: Two regular teachers institutes were held each year; one at the opening of school and another during the lattet A well part of the school term. planned group discussion meeting of all the teachers of the district has been held each month, In connection with our regular teacher's association meeting, at which ways and means for Improving the methods, devices, and technique of teaching used in our schools were discussed. In addition to these meetings the teachers of each of the schools of the district have held their regular weekly teachers' meeting under the direction of the principal of the building. The Superintendent has made 476 individual teacher visits to the various teachers of the district while in their respective class rooms conducting regular school work. These visits have varied in the time spent with the teacher from 15 minutes to 2 hours in length according to the consideration and problem under the apparent need of supervision. In terms of averages, each teacher has been vlBited approximately 11 times during the period of this report. On practically all of the visits made by the Superintendent, he was by the Music Superaccompanied visor, who has been very conscientious and energetic in his work and has achieved very gratifying results In his supervisory activities. s Oertificaion, Training, Salaries teachers have been In the Juab School Dis employed trict during the period. IN THE new Ford truck are many features which make it unusually economical to operate, and which contribute to long, reliable service. Perhaps the lubrication system has a greater influence upon the lift of an engine than any other factor. In the Ford, the advantages of pump, gravity and splash systems are combined. Oil is first pumped to the From there it flows by gravity to all main crankshaft and camshaft bearings. It also flows to troughs into which the connecting-rod- s dip. This not only lubricates the connecting-rod bearings, but causes oil to be splashed on all other moving parts. There are no costly drilled shafts and pressure oil lines. The only moving part is the pump. Simple and sure as water running down-hil- l. Why not come in today and let us show you the other features of the new Ford truck which add so greatly to its value?
