"THE BIG IDEA" TO'BE SECOND SCHOOL PLAY Some time in the near future Miss Langlois intends to put on a.. nother school play, "The Big Wea." She is doing this in order to give former play production students a chance and also others who wanted to have the experience. "The Big Idea" is an unusual play in three acts. The story tells of a banker who needing money appropriated It from the bank. He plan., ned to pay it back before the bank inspector is due but he finds that His he will be unable to do so. son plans to kill himself so that his life Insurance could pay his father's debt. Here the girl enters and she suggests a plan. They are to write a play, the story of the experience. By selling this play they can obtain but before the necessary money they can end their story they must Difficulties arise but sell the play. they finally succeed In their purpose and all ends well. II. S. Students on Arbor Day. Clarion SENIOR SLDFF DAY TO BE BIG EVENT Senior sluff day is going to be made the greatest event in the history of the school. Instead of havare ing just one day, the Seniors going to have two days, Friday and Saturday. Friday at 7:30 they all leave the N. H. S. and go the Steel Mill at Steel City where they will visit the West's greatest Steel Works. After visiting the steel mill they will go on to Salt Lake where they will visit the Utah Cement Plant, Stock Yards, and the Utah Oil Refining plant. They will spend Friday night in Salt Lake. The whole class will go to one of the theatres in a body. Saturday they will go out to Bing ham where more ore is removed in one week than there was soil removed in the building of the Panama Canal in one week. They will then follow the ore from Bingham thru to the Magna and Garfield mills. From Garfield they will journey homeward, stopping over at Provo for the track meet. No. 70. Jas. P Stephen- - S.
