Jensen, one of Levan's most respected citizens died here Wednesday afternoon, after suffering a prolonged illness of several years. Mr. Jensen and family came to tnls country from Denmark about thirty years ago, having joined the L. D. S. The church in his native country. family's home was at Centerfield, from which place he and his wife Margurite Jensen, moved to Levan, purchasing the home and farm of Joseph Jensen Miller.' He has been one of our best citizens, having been particularly noted for his liberal contributions to those in need and to all public enterprises and celebrations He leaves a widow, two brothers, and a host of friends and relatives to mourn his demise. The body will be sent to Centerfield for burial after funeral services are held here. The first baseball game of the season was played here Saturday afternoon in which the Santaquin team crossed bats with our local team. The game was exciting throughout and resulted in the close score of nine to eight in favor of the home nine. Jerry Dunn of Utah county fame was on the mound for the visiting team while Arvil Wankier held that position for the locals.
