Sperry, Jr., Secretary of the Home Service League of Nephi, Informs tills paper that she has received the blanks tor making out the applications tor the $60.00 bonus which the Government will pay, under the law recently panged by Congress, to all discharged soldiers and sailors, and the necessury blanks can now be obtained from her by the Nephi soldiers or sailors who wishes to get this bonus. The bill, as passed by Congress, authorizes the payment ot 160.00 bonus to all persons nerving in the military or naval forces during the present war when discharged or to those who may have already been discharged since April 6, 1917. This amount is in addition to all other amounts due them as final settlements on their discharge. All persons separated from active military service from April 6, 1917, who were discharged without having received this bonus and who are to It should forward claim for such bonus direct to the Loan fiLemon Building, nance Officer, "Washington, D. Bigler, who died In Arizona Friday, was brought to Nephi for burial, which took place from the home of his sister, .Mrs. Lynn (21 Olpin, Wednesday. had The deceased lived in Kureka for several years pust, but had gone to Arizona some time ago where he expected to shear sheep, being an expert In this line of work. During the past tew years he bad been employed at the Chief Consolidated mine in Eureka, and bore an excellent record for being an Industrious worker there.
