The Camion legislative tieket was elected in Weber county, the Republicans electing the county tieket. Salt Lake county is Democratic, majorities ranging from 1,500 to 2,000. There was a heavy scratched vote, results in some of the districts not being announced until late in the afternoon. A large percentage of the Gentile vote remained away from the polls. Utah county elected the entire Democratic tieket. giving the state ticket a majority of about (500. The county tieket was elected by slightly smaller majorities. There was much scratching on all tickets, it appearing at present that both judiciary candidates outran their congressional nominees. The vote throughout the state was very light. In this city not more than s of the regular vote vvas polled. -- or nearly half a pound, of dynamite were carried in the mails which arrived on the overland train Sunday morning. The explosives were poured from the mailsack on the distribution table at the postofliee station and cine of the clerks soon afterward tossed them through a chute to the table of the carrier who would take them to the destination as indicated by the address.
