But ne less unreasonable; fully as unscientific; altogether as useless almost as barbarous, is the criminal practice of having teeth extracted (pulled) for toothache (which, in the vast majority7 of cases, could be saved); or of allowing teeth to get into such condition that they7 cannot be saved. Monday morning saw a very large array of attorneys when the time came for opening court, the ruh-- of the court having been published in the Tribune of Sunday; consequently the attorneys took cognizance of that fact and came in. A meeting timed to take place in the Tabernacle Monday to consider matters relative to building a meeting house in the First Ward was fairly well attended, and all seemed to be enthusiastic toward building a new house where theyr could worship the God of their faith. Bishop Warner presided a id among those on the stand were Counsellor Harley, President Taxman, and Counsellor Isaac H. Grace, Considerable business was gone through by those present. It was moved that a committee of ten be appointed with the Bishop and his counsellors included, to look after the building of the edifice and other metiers pertaining thereto, which was carried, after a resolution discharging the original committee with a vote of thanks was passed.
