Show Skyline and Olympus Lose to Tough Teams Last week Skyline and Olym- Hemming pus continued their battle for Neilsen the basketball cellar in Region Three. The Titans of Olympus have a slight edge over Skyline by virtue of one win, which was at the expense of the Skyline club. James Cannon, director of the Utah Tourist and Publicity Council, said the main speaker at the luncheon meeting will be Dr Edward C. Crafts, director of the Bureau of Outdoor Recreation, U. S. Department of Interior. He will speak on new developments in recreation and n bepending fore the U. S. Congress effecting the West. Dr Crafts, who began his career in forestry in Utah 29 years ago, is well known in America for work in conservation and recreation. He was appointed to the d federal recreation agency last year by Secretary of Interior Stewart Utahns State Officers Virgil Sullivan, a member of the Sandy American Legion, was elected a vice president of the Legion Boys State organization. Election of officers was held Jan. 16 with William E. Christophcrson, Hyrum, reelected as president. Others elected were Max A. Work on a gondola ski lift, termed the longest in the world, has already started. Other facilities which will make the area above Park City a winter and summer recreational playground are also under construction. Mr Street's presentation will show how Park City's development will tie in with Alta and Brighton ski areas and proposed developments at adjacent Was- pany year-aroun- d atch State Park. The initial phase of the Park City plan is scheduled for completion in December, 1963.
