The two-stor- y brick veneer structure designed by Ron Molen and engineered by Climate Control. Inc., features special window designs to minimize energy loss, Stangl says. Covering an entire city block of more than two acres from Fourth and Fifth Avenue and Lewis and Bonneville Streets, the structure is the result of a computerized study by Climate Control which will reduce heat and air conditioning losses in the complex to under 30,000 BTUs. This is accomplished by minimizing window space on the north and south walls, Stangl explains, to reduce the effect of sun and wind on climate control. The 51,000 ar $50,000 brick Ymmies facility should open Oct. 1 with a seating capacity of 88. It is the second Yummies restaurant to open in Salt Lake, both built by Stangl and designed by California architect J.D. Scott.
