In addition to expressing concern about the possible impact of the Twelfth Street Bank on the business of the Weber Family Bank, Brimhall said, It would be prudent for applicants to direct their attention to the existing unit bank in Cache County at this time. He noted that proponents of the new bank, other than Marvin L. Steed, have little bank operating experience other than as directors of the North Park Bank of Commerce in North Logan, Cache County, Utah. The seven men in addition to Steed reapplying for permission to organize the new bank are: Linden D. Beckstead Dean R. Ellis, Newel L. King, Glen M. Richman, L.A. Skab-elun- d and J. Owen Yeates. Spokesmen for the bank were available for comment regarding their motivation for reapplying. But a representative of the Commissioners office speculated they are probably trying to keep the space open for themselves.
