Show 8monday, 1978 Purchasing consolidation brings KCC execs from New York to local office Kennecott Copper Corporation will move several of its top executives from New York to Salt Lake City this spring in the wake of consolidating its metal mining purchasing departments, company officials in New York have announced. No site has been selected for the new office, according to Ken Kefauver, a spokesman for the local mining division. gseess ganre gcgec The consolidation unifies purchasing, physical distribution and inventory control of the metal mining divisions mines in Utah, New Mexico, Nevada and Arizona.
