The Z-- 1 set a new standard of performance for all Superbikes, and proved it to be as tough as it was fast. Now the Z-- 1 has been improved into being a KZ1000, and the new model is at least Super-Colossbetter riding and handling than the original, with a much more comfortable seat, and with performance like nothing else on wheels. Sure, there are pure racing machines that are faster than the KZ1000, but its the undisputed King of the public roads, and a completely worthy (quieter, faster and more refined) successor to the Z-- 1. Long live the King. four-cylind- time-in-servi- ce al, Cycle Buyers Guide, p. 95 And, we might add, long live legendary riding.
