The increase in elementary teachers leaving the district is offset by a drop In the secondary grades, Supt. Parratt said. "We. will lose 17 out of 68 elementary teachers, mostly to districts," Supt. surrounding parratt noted. He pointed out that most teachers are leaving for increased salaries and' better teaching supplies. In the junior and senior high only 9 out of 62 teachers have indicated they were leaving the district, Supt. Parratt said. In addition to obtaining teachers to replace the ones leaving, the district will also employ four additional elementary and two secondary teachers next year.
