Dr. Reed Andrus, nominating committee chairman, announced this week. "Nominations are open until the elections are held," Dr. Andrus said. Elections will be held on Thursday, May 15th. Officers for the coming year will take office July 1st. The growth of the area has been quite evident to Bishop Andrus. When he first moved into his home at 3545 W. 3500 South there were few residences in the area. "Homes have really sprung up since we moved here." Bishop Andrus noted. "Most of the area was farmland then." A native Utahn. Keith was born and raised in Magna the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Andrus. He and his four brothers were raised by their father from the time Keith was SAVINGS and sister, Mrs. Joyce Douglas, Elaine has owned and operated the Tarry Shop in Granger for two years. Mrs. Andrus has been a MIA Maid teacher in the Mutual for the past four years and teaches nursery class in Sunday School. She also has been a Primary teacher. Bishop and Mrs. Andrus have four children. Kathy Ann, 14, attends the eighth grade at Valley junior high. She sings in the Girls Ensemble, unu has participated in the school play. K;'thy is a nursery class teacher in Sunday School. Launa Iee, 12. is in her final year at Monroe and enjoys sports. Tommy. 7. is in the second grade at Monroe and his favorite sport is marbles.
