Show Tff .rt:-r,- . To Extend Lights State Street On Extension of sodium vapor lighting on the state highway from Murray City south limits to ViS If Draper-Riverto- n crossroads as a cooperative project between the state, Salt Lake county and the Utah Power and Light Co. was considered at a meeting of representatives of the groups on Monday at the city and county building. Agreeing the project would improve the approach to Salt Lake City as well as add to traf fic safety, the group delegated the engineering department of the state road commission to draft plans to submit at a future meeting. Cost of the project was esti' mated at between $70,000 and $80,000. Use of wood poles with aluminum paint was suggested to allow use of but one set of poles for both street lighting purposes and for power company service lines in the area.
