The housing Committee wishes to thank the Band Mothers for their efficiency in housing 200 band students. The Band Mothers canvassed from house to house until they had ample room to house the students that are unable to return home over Thursday night. The committee also wishes to thank the Murray citizens for their splendid cooperation in working with the Housing Committe and Band Mothers in obtaining these rooms. The Music Festival organization has, at the present time, a sign hanging across the State street in order to let nearby com munities know of this erent af fair. Now, with the sign and the pep and color that the Festival will bring to Murray, each indi vidual should talk the Festival up, decorate, and see that every body far and near is interested in this colorful affair. Remember, folks, that there is going to be many thousand students and fans here in our community, so it is up to us all. to see that everyone is well entertained and taken care of. If this Festival goes over as big as anticipated and it will if we all strive to make it do so, Murray will be looked upon as the City that really puts over what it starts. Not only that, but if this Festival is a success, it will stay in Murray for years to come.
