Clay has the lar- area gest Severn, en Murray church, civic and fraternal organizations participated in the organization of the Murray Santa CIus Club at a meeting held at the City Hall on Wednesday evening. The organization was perfected with Andrew Lundquist as chair man, the object i.einir to nate the efforts of the various groups in the city with reference to the giving of Christmas gifts to those children who would otherwise more or less lie neglected. The importance of the harmonious grouping of the Interests was emphasized when it was determined, by actual figures at hand that six hundred children in the immediate community would be affected. In some Instances, it was explained, that several groups working Independently, have duplicated their efforts, leaving some children unenred for by Santa the Claus, on Christ's Birthday, greatest holiday of the year. Headquarters of the organiza tion have been established in the rsons who wish City Hall, where to do a part toward aiding Santa may call, signifying their willingness to render the financial aid so necessary at this time to successfully carry on the work. A coupon, which may be signed by those who wish to play a part is to be found In this Issue of The Eagle. Offh-erof the Santa Claus Club are: Chairman, Andrew Lundquist: with L. N.
