The Salt Lake City Stand- it rdized Spelling Test was givn in grades three to seven, inclusive. Grades 3, 4, and 7 were practically equal with the Salt Lake City norm. Crudes 5 and 0 fell 5 iointn below the Salt Lake City norms. This points out the need of additional testing (now being carried out) aud remedial measures to correct this spelling weakness in the fifth and sixth grades. Four tests were given in the high school. The tenth grade was given e General 'Science the eleventh nnd 12th the tenth, Test; grades weici given the t Yoss English Tests; the twelfth grade was given the Whipple High School Heading Test ; and the same grade was given the Ohio T'nivcrsity Entrance Examination.
