Jordan Post No. 35; J. A. Marshall, Cyprus Post No. 38, Magna; and L. E. Snow, Bingham Post No. 30, are expected to present a membership contest by challenging the new Murray Post with an agreement that the losers feed the winning post. The contest will be on a basis of membership as of a given date, possiby May 1st. Kingsley Clawson, Commander of the Salt Lake Post No. 2, will bring with him the Sons of Drum the American Legion Corps, which will parade the streets of Murray just before the meeting. Commander Clawson has agreed to form a caravan of the Salt Lake membership, drum corps, and entertainment, and move to Murray for its next regular meeting on January 23rd, which falls on the same date as the election and installation of officers of the new Murray Post. The Sons of the American Legion Drum Corps of both Jordan Post No. 35, and Cyprus Post No. 38 at Magna are expected to be well enough organized to make their appearance at this meeting and all other membership of posts in the district will converge on Murray at one of the largest veterans' meetings ever held in the valley.
