Parents had been furnished a program of their child's work, which they followed for the entire six periods. Many of the parents received their first lessons in algebra, swimming, science and other courses, which were not listed in the school curriculum when they attended school in the same grades. Part of each period was devoted to a discussion of any scheiol or pupil problem suggested by the parents.
