W .L. Gray. Mrs. Gray is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harley Ross of this city and is well known here. She went into the airline service as hostess five years ago, and during that time has fluwn 1.000,-005,000 miles, representing hours in the air. Lieut. Gray is a pilot in the army air corps. Mrs. Gray resigned from her position on the first of the month and the couple will reside in Los Angeles. Executive Officers Appoint Committees Holladay-Irvin- g P.T.A. olTicers met Wednesday afternoon to appoint committees to make plans for separating the P.T.A. organizations of the two schools. The meeting was held at the home of Mrs. Waller in East Millcreek. Spend Week End Here Mrs. Dan Bromley of Pocatello, Idaho, visited over the week end with relatives in Murray. Neighbors of Woodcraft Meet Neighbors of Woodcraft met Tuesday afternoon at the Fraternal hall and after a business meeting, cards were played. Prizes were won by Mrs. Doris Ottley and Mrs. Laura Staufier. Ilostess to Cheerup Club Mrs. Ray Smith entertained members of the Cheerup club on Thursday afternoon at her home. A delicious hot dinner was served at 12:30 p.m., and following a short business meeting, cards were played. Prizes were awarded Mrs. Mary Anne Jensen and Mrs. Grace Smith. Mrs. Leila Rasmussen won the house prize. Motor to Ogden Mr. and Mrs. Heber Day motored to Ogden on Wednesday with Mr. and Mrs. Byron C. Mon-so- n. MRS. EDNA ROSS GRAY CHURCH NEWS WOMEN'S DEMOCRATIC CLUB PLANS SOCIAL Plans were completed Wednesday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Louis Mitchell. Sandy, president of the Salt Lake County Women's Democratic club, for a program and social to be held by the organization on Friday, February 27. The social will take place at 2 p.m. at the Salt Lake county fire hall. All members irtid friends are invited. Officers of the club have announced that the organization will use part of its funds to buy bonds, for defense. Holladay Ward To Hold Cold and Green Ball Holladay ward's Gold and Green danao and music festival will be held on March 20 this year. An elaborate floor show under the direction of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Fryer and Mille Debbs, activity counselor, is being prepared. A music festival, also a feature of the Gold and Green Ball, will be part of the evening's entertainment. The music is under the direction of Marian Garner, Annie Steiner, Phyllis Redmond, Irene Lloyd and Doral Cutler. Returns from WARDS PLAN MOVING PICTIEE moving picture will be held in the Millcntk ward amusement hall Friday evening f.r members of the Mi'.lereck and Valley Center wards. Howe Moffat, president, reported on the construction of a backstop fur the playground. A nominating committee of Mrs. Earl Howe, chairman, and Mrs, Clement Toone and Mrs. Wil- liam Adams was appointed. A quilt was exhibited which will be rallied off at the March meeting with proceeds going to the Granite Welfare Fund.
