I abian, president of the corporation. Mr. Fabian said he could not tell yet exactly what steps would be taken, but it is likely that other canneries will be called on to help care for the crops. The Murray plant was to have opened during the week for pea canning and a pack of 100,000 cases was contemplated, It is believed that the plant can be placed in condition for the tomato pack, Mr. Fabian said, by the latter part of August. The work of rebuilding will be started immediately and new equipment obtained.. The $200,000 loss was fully covered by insurance, according to the company president. The destroyed plant was built in 1914 bv the Twin Peaks Canning company and was taken over by the present owners on December 31, 1926. Since tha time it has been considerably enlarged. Mr. Fabian said that in rebiulding, some further enlargements will be made. Mayor I.
