Mr. and Mrs. Alonzo Morlej of Provo were visiting, relatives and friends in Moroni this week. They are now on their way to California to remain for the summer. Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Draper announce an-nounce the marriage of their son Orlando Or-lando to Miss Reath Brotherson of Mt. Pleasant. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Dunroe cf Salt Lake City were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Cleon Anderson. One-half of the M. H. Club entertained enter-tained the other half Thursday evening eve-ning at the Moroni House. An elaborate elab-orate banquet was enjoyed by all members at nine o'clock. A toast to the club women was given by Prjsi-dent. Prjsi-dent. Mrs. Leander Olsen. A reading was given by Mrs. John Mellanson entitled "The World Woman." Wom-an." The remainder of the evening was spent in social conversation. Mrs. P. J. Draper, Mrs. D. C. Nelson, Mrs. John Mellanson. Mrs. James Fescher. Mrs. James Prestwich, Mrs. John Kel-lett, Kel-lett, Mrs. Josiah Blackham and Mrs. Mary J. Blackham were hostesses, and the following members were the guests Mrs. Earl Cahoon, Mrs. TJrvin Gee. Mrs. Fred Rundquist, Mrs. Leander Olsen. Mrs. L. U. Christensen., Mrs. Joseph Faux and Mrs. Orlando Elia-son. Elia-son. Saturday evening the Sorosis cluS enjoyed a weinie roast in the grove on Marvin Anderson's lot. The main feature was a huge bonfire whre all present roasted weinies and toasted marshmallows. Supper was enloyed under the rays of jack-o-lan-terns and the moon. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Cleon Anderson, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Blackham. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Anderson, Mr. and Mis. Lloyd Blackham, Mr. and Mrs. E. D Anderson, Mr. and Mrs. John R. Blackham, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Anderson, An-derson, Mr. and Mrs Russell Bailey, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Blackham, Mr and Mrs. Blaine Draper, Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Draper, Mr. and Mrs. John Irons, Mr. and Mrs. James Larsen, Mr. and Mrs. Mozart Larsen, Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Lamb. Mrs. Mert Draper and daughter Opal and Elmer Laurtzen motored to Kimberly, Nevada, to visit relatives and friends. . Mrs Elizabeth D. Larsen or Spring City was the guest of her daughter, Mrs. Marvin Anderson this week. |
