Show FOUNTAIN GREEN The Stark still continues his visits to Fountain Green, having made three trips this week. He left a baby girl at the home of Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Anderson and boys at the homes of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Guy-man, Guy-man, and Mr. and Mrs. Reese Hol-man, Hol-man, respectively. Edna and Idena Jensen, Delia Joruensen, and Edith Olsen, left ti-day ti-day for a visit to Colorado. Mrs. Myrum Lund and Mrs. Chas R. Coombs will leave lor salt Lake City on June 10th to attend the 'June Convention of the Primary Association. The Home Economics Association :of Fountain Green gave a very suc-cessfuj! suc-cessfuj! Benefit Dance on iTuesday evening for Mrs. Wilford Lund, iwhose husband died of the influenza some four months ago and left a family of." four little children. The 'Home Economics felt that assistance should be given this sister and set to work to put into effect the senti ments of several of its members. At ; the regular monthly meeting, the women got busy, and wrote invitations, invita-tions, for every family in town, they also delivered them and solicited Donotions. As it is well known Ft. Green always goes over the top, whenever called on for donations, of whatever description and in this case gave very liberally. Every family was asked, to bring picnic and the Association furnished the punch. The iuan?-;ement kindly donated do-nated the use of the Hall and the 1 Orchestra gavi their services. A goodly sum of $250. was realised, every cent of which will be handed over to Mrs. Lund. The School band under the direction of Prof. Lolstrup, serenaded the town. Chas R. Coombs announced the proceeds at the close of the Dance and thanked thank-ed every person who had contributed to make the evening a success. |
