Show JOHNSON HAS OFFICE QUALIFICATION J. A. Johnson, better known as Arthur Johnson, son of the late Judge Jacob Johnson, has tiled for County Commissioner, or the two year term on the Republican ticket. l His long experience in County Coun-ty business qualifies him for this position. He was elected to the office of County Treasurer Treas-urer and was re-elected for a second term. He has worked as assistant to the County Recorder, Re-corder, County Clerk and County Coun-ty Assessor. It was during his term as County Treasurer the law compelled com-pelled the assessment of all property from trie records. It was at this time he put into operation the number system, greatly reducing the costs of work in the county treasurer's and county assessor's offices. Since the expiration of his term as County Treasurer, he has represented the firm of John Scowcroft & Sons Co. of Ogden, Utah, as their traveling salesman, sales-man, which position he held for 26 years. He is the father of four children, chil-dren, three daughters and one son, Arthur Johnson, Jr., who is now serving his country as a Lieutenant in the Army Air Corps.
