June Joseph Dyches celebrates ninetieth birthday Ephraim seniors Mathew Sorensen, Kaelyn Demill to exchange vows ) Senior menus EPHRAIM MORONI- - The family of Joseph Dyches recently held a celebration in honor of his 90th birthday at the home of his second son, Edgel, who lives in Midvale. His father opened the first state inspected barbershop in Moroni in 1910. Joseph was cutting hair as a teenager and in received his apprenticeship 1926. In 1928, he took the barber licensing test in Salt Lake City and received his license. He retired in 1982, but after 60 years of bartering, he still is cutting hair for a few citizens.
