Show Verda Seely celebrates 80th birthday MT. PLEASAN- Verda Mae Seely T- The children of Verda Mae Seely will honor her on her 80th birthday with a family dinner and open house on Saturday March 28, 1998, from 2 to 4 p.m., in the Mt. Pleasant LDS Stake Center. She was born March 25, 1918, in Milburn, the third child of 12 to Cyrus H. and Mary Elizabeth Stewart. She married her sweetheart, Lee Seely, on Sept. 10, 1936, in the Manti LDS Temple. They celebrated their 50th anniversary in 1986. He died in 1988. She is an active member of the LDS Church serving in various organizations. She has also held manty offices in the DUP. She has five children: Mrs. Verl (Donna) Jensen; Jerold (Shirley) Seely; Mrs. Douglas Lannie (Darlene) Oleary; (Kathy) Seely; Larry (Mona Lee) Seely; 24 grandchildren and 17 March 25, 1998 Josh Kent Gardiner, son of Floyd and JoLyn Gardiner, Mt.
