Julia was born on Dec. 30, 1915, in Panguitch, Utah, the daughter of James Burrows and Fannie May LeFevre Davenport. Her mother passed away when she was only six years old and she and her 15 brothers and sisters were then raised by a wonderful stepmother, Francis Davis. She was married to Verland James Johansen on Dec. 24, 1936, in Panguitch, Utah, later solemnized in the Manti Temple on Feb. 2, 1956. He passed away on Feb. 27, 1995. She retired as an LPN from the Sanpete Valley Hospital where she spent many years giving loving care to the people in Sanpete County, just as the nurses and staff there did for her during the past nine months. She was an active member of the LDS Church, serving in many capacities in the Relief and Society, Primary MIA. Another joy in her life was the clubs and DUP she attended and the friendships she shared with all the wonderful ladies. Her family was her life. She is survived by two daughters and one Elna son, (Charles) McKay, Mt. Pleasant; Faye Ivory, Park City; and Scott (Ellen) Johansen, Flower Mound, TX. She had 10 grandchil- dren and 13 She is also survived by four brothers and one sister, Burris Davenport, Ivan Davenport and Vida Newby, Kearns; Tom Davenport. Taylorsville; and Harold Davenport, Portland, OR. Funeral services will be held on Tues., Jan. 21, at 12 noon in the Mt. Pleasant 3rd Ward Chapel.
