PLEASAN- T- Holiday events slated by the First Presbyterian Church will continue Dec. 17, with a regular session meeting at the Horseshoe Mountain Restaurant after church, and an evening performance of Christmas music by the Bell Choir. The wagon will leave the church at 6:30 p.m., Dec. 23, for family caroling. Apple cider and hot chocolate will be served to warm everyone after the outing. PLEASAN- T- Santa is Chrcoming to an istmas celebration on Mt. Pleasants Main Street at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 16. According to Loyce Schuh-manevent chairperson, Santa will visit Main Street stores where goodies await the kids and big savings help with Christmas shopping. "There will be drawings for gift certificates," said Schuhmann. Stores will have a wide range of Christmas gifts. Schuhmann also said that the annual Christmas city bucks drawings will be bigger than ever with $400 in city bucks given away at 2 p.m. each week at the recreation center, along with scores of door prizes.
